THE PROCESS

The decision to end a marriage is never easy and the process can be equally difficult. The legal support we provide for our clients who file for divorce is guided by our desire to protect your rights, secure your assets and keep you moving toward a better future.

Every divorce is different and yet many attorneys see every divorce the same way. We know that you may have a complicated situation but we also know that you may have limited resources. With these delicate considerations in mind, we offer the flexibility of our Divorce Support Options.

SUPPORT OPTIONS

For many people, these are especially trying times. Financial stress added to irreconcilable family issues can result in bad decisions. Dowe Law Firm has structured ways to make your divorce more affordable by letting you assume some of the work.

  1. FULL SERVICE - This is the traditional method of engaging an attorney to shepherd you through the divorce process. We do all the paperwork, all the court filings, and are literally and figuratively at your side throughout all elements of the process.
  2. A LA CARTE – You choose in advance, with our help, which areas you can handle yourself and what you’d like us to do for you. For example, you may feel confident about preparing your own documents, but need the experience of an attorney with you in court. This is also known as “limited scope representation.” The more work you take on yourself, the lower your legal fees.
  3. COACHING – You represent yourself fully in the eyes of the court. We can help you with completing required documents, advise you about law and strategy and coach you about fact-finding but we remain in the background. This method is often preferred by clients who are reasonably articulate and have more time than money.

If you choose a limited level of service and later become overwhelmed, you may easily add services or switch to full service.

Your success in this process starts with an honest evaluation of your case. Our $25 consultation offers you the opportunity to learn more about our Divorce Support Options and which level of service is most appropriate for your circumstances. Call us today to schedule your in-office consultation.
